Creatures of Heart~
They stand by us, Creatures of Muscle, Stride
and Heart.
For in their world we are the most important part.
Their days in our service they will abide,
because they know we love to ride.
They ask so little... Shelter, Water and Food,
With Love and Kindness the better to include.
So when the time comes that they must leave,
We must pause and wait to grieve.
We must stand by them,
We Creatures of Mind, Hand and Heart.
Because in Their world, we were the most
important part.
